Remote Starter

Starter Kill
(optional)
Car starter will not work when the starter kill is in function. After
disarming, the system will re-arm automatically within 60 seconds
except if the car is started prior to the 60 seconds. To disarm, press
once the button
of the transmitter and start the vehicle.

Valet Mode / Override
In the case of lost or malfunction of the transmitter, use this mode to
by-pass or override the alarm or the starter kill function.
a) turn the key to the Run (On) position
b) immediately within 6 sec, press and release brake pedal at least 6
times or until the alarm or the starter kill shut off – Start as usual.
System is temporary out of order. To reset , repeat step a and b .
The LED will start flashing and the system is back in operation

When remote starting your vehicle, power door locks*will lock
after the last 6th parking flash.
•
When running time is over (12 or 18 min.), power door locks* will
automatically lock.
•
Do not leave the keys in the vehicle in any circumstance.
WARNING : Do not touch the brake pedal within the first 6 seconds after you have started the vehicle with the KEY to avoid the remote
starter to go accidentally into Valet or Sleep Mode. Remote starter function will not work in Valet mode. See Valet section for more
Start / Stop
*
Press button to start. Parking lights will flash 6 times
and stay on for the duration of the cycle (12 or 18
minutes). Press again to stop.
Arm / Lock (optional)
/
Press button to arm. Parking lights will flash once, horn
or siren chirp once (if installed). System is armed within
3 seconds. LED (red flashing light inside vehicle) starts
flashing. Any attempt to open the doors will immediately
trigger the horn for 30 sec. (or siren for 60 sec.).
To stop, press the same button again once.
NEW — Battery saver (auto shut off)
When buttons of the transmitter are kept pressed, power
is disconnected after 15 sec.
Releasing the button will reset all the normal function of
the transmitter.
Security switch (On/Off) (ask for it location )
Leave the Security Switch to the OFF position to disable the
operation of the remote starter (such as when indoor parking or at
car maintenance, etc...). Switch back to ON position for normal
operation.

If you want to keep the engine running & the accessories working (heater, air
conditioner) for a short time when you're not in the vehicle, proceed as follow :
Before shut the engine off :
1– Press once button
2– Remove the key from the ignition . The engine will stay running.
3–Open and close the door. Arm & lock your vehicle with your transmitter
(if installed) or with your key. The engine will keep running for a
maximum of 18 minutes.
Important: This feature does not function is the brake pedal is holding down.
WARNING
Important: It is mandatory to leave the shifter in NEUTRAL at
all time with or without the intention to remote start the vehicle .
In order to remote start a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission,
proceed to the following steps :
1– While the engine is running, engage the parking or hand brake, put the
shifter in the Neutral position.
2– Press momentarily button
the LED will be lid and the engine stays running. Exit the vehicle.
3– Shut the door. The engine will stop, the doors will lock* immediately
and the alarm will be set * within 3 seconds with a chirp *
*optional or if installed
Important: If the engine stays running after the door is closed, open the
door again, press on the brake pedal onece (1) to stop the engine.
Bring back the vehicle to the store for check-up
Now, you can remote start your vehicle with the transmitter as long as the
door is not opened in between.
Disarm / Unlock (optional)
Press button to disarm / unlock. Parking lights flash twice.
System is disarmed.

Trunk (optional)
Hold button for 3 seconds to release the trunk. Parking

Press 2 buttons at the same time to enable this function,

parking lights will flash 4 times to confirm. To cancel this
feature, start & stop the vehicle with the transmitter or with
the key. Important: Do not use this feature when the
vehicle is parked in a closed area.

1-The LED stays lid during the first minute after the engine
has been started with the key then shut off thereafter. Normal.
2– When the alarm or the starter kill is in operation, the LED
will flash regularly once every 1 second.
