CLEANING WARNINGS
CAUTION!
•
Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleansers to clean the griddle surface.
•
For standard griddles, use pumice stone (griddle brick) or steel scraper.
•
For chromed griddles, use only a 10 cm razor-style scraper, held at a shallow angle to the
griddle surface.
•
For grooved griddles, use the special scraper provided with the griddle.
WARNING!
•
DO NOT submerge counter top appliances in water.
•
DO NOT splash or pour water onto control panels or wiring. This appliance is not jet stream
approved. Do not clean with water jet.
•
Possible shock hazard and/or equipment damage if interior of unit becomes wet.

Periodically inspect seal around countertop flange of built-in units. Grease may leak under a
faulty seal into electrical components, causing a potential fire hazard.
WARNING!

Contact your authorized Wells Service Agent for repairs if you suspect interior grease
contamination.
CAUTION! HOT SURFACE

The griddle is cleaned while it is hot. Wear protective gloves and apron to prevent burns.
