What to do if:
The batter fl ows over
the edge of the unit
during baking.

Answers:
Use less waffl e batter.
Check the thermos-
tat.
It
should
be
adjusted
so
that
the
heat
is
high
enough
for
perfect
baking.
The waffl e maker needs
to be hot enough for
perfect baking. Lightly
butter the plates for
better results.
Make sure the "on"
button
is
properly
engaged.
6. CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Clean the unit after use and before storing.
• Before cleaning, make sure the unit is turned off
and unplugged and has cooled completely.
• Never dismantle the unit to clean it.
• Remove any crumbs on the grids using a brush,
and any oil residue using a dry cloth.
• Gently wipe the grids using a damp cloth to
prevent them from sticking and to remove
any traces of batter. This will also prevent any
accumulation of oil.
• Wipe the outside of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use an abrasive pad.
• Do not immerse the unit, its electrical cord or its
plug in water or any other liquid.
• Close the unit before storing.

appliance only according to the instructions in
this manual.

this manual and following all instructions.
• Do not use outdoors.

before using. Do not use the unit if there is
damage or if it has fallen.
• Do not use the unit if the electrical cord is
damaged. If there is evident damage to the
electrical cord, stop using the unit immediately.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
special cord available from the manufacturer or
one of its after-sales service centres.
