Deleting A Remote Control; Access Control Mode; Mode 0 - Base - Aprimatic UNICO Instructions

INFORMATION:
• The procedure for self-teaching of the first remote control, as described
above, is only possible if the RX memory is completely empty.
• To quit the saving procedure, simply press the delete button.
• In any case, the system remains in self-teaching mode (continuous buzzer)
for a maximum of about 25 seconds before the receiver automatically
returns to normal mode (buzzer OFF).
• During the self-teaching procedure, the receiver outputs are disabled.

5.5 Deleting a remote control

1. With the receiver powered up, hold down the delete button (see
figure 1): the LED and the buzzer come ON (continuous buzzer).
2. Press any button on the remote control you want to delete.
3. The LED and the buzzer will go OFF to indicate that deletion of the remote
control is complete.

• To delete more than one remote control, repeat stage 2 above, holding
down the button.
• This procedure is useful for deleting remote controls which have been
saved by mistake. However, you can subsequently save the remote control
deleted in the receiver again, following the procedure described above.

6. ACCESS CONTROL MODE

6.1 Mode 0 – Base
Aprimatic remote controls are supplied already programmed with a unique
serial number .
Without the need for any other programming operations after the remote
control is bought, installers with the special Aprimatic tools can program the
access control mode of the receiver at the same time as self-teaching of the
first remote control (procedure described in section 5.3 above).
The default mode pre-programmed in the remote controls and transferred
to the receiver at the same time as self-teaching of the first remote control
guarantees maximum safety ( hopping rolling code ) for all types of installation.
The technology used by Aprimatic is the same as that widely used in radio-
based door opening systems in the motor vehicle sector. Using the remote
controls and receivers of the Aprimatic Memory System, the area controlled
will be as electronically safe as the door of a luxury car!
