Assembly
1. Release the clamp ring. Remove the lid and all parts from the inside of the bucket.
2. Close the lid, tighten and re-clamp.
3. Insert the suction nozzle about 10 cm into the black tube, inserting the sawn-off edge first. A turning
movement will facilitate this.
4. Connect the other end of the tube to the opening (without the rubber gasket) in the lid. Carefully give a
quarter turn to the right.
5. Insert the tube of your vacuum cleaner into the opening of the lid with the rubber gasket.

Operation
Before vacuuming ashes, ensure that there are no glowing ashes and that they have
1. Select the lowest setting on your vacuum cleaner.
2. Switch on the vacuum cleaner and suck up the ashes.
3. Switch off the vacuum cleaner after use. Disconnect the ash cleaner and clean carefully.

Operation Guidelines
Should the hose of the vacuum cleaner become warm, switch off your vacuum cleaner immediately and
wait for the hose to cool down.
If ashes or dirt adheres to the nozzle or insides of the hose, gently tap the nozzle to loosen the ashes.
If suction power diminishes, gently tap the lid of the ash cleaner to free the filter. Should suction power
remain weak, check whether the bucket should be emptied.
When the ashes have been vacuumed, hold the hose in a perpendicular position before switching off the
vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Never clean the device with water but use a damp cloth to remove dirt.
Never use flammable or caustic products to clean the device.
