7. Attaching Filters
1. Align the filter
mark and push together.
2. Rotate the filter clockwise until it stops.

Use two filters of the same type and class.
Replace both filters at the same time.
8. Donning
Disconnect the buckle.
1. Place the headband over your head.
2. Connect the buckle behind the neck.

3. Pull both ends of the head harness (A) and (B)
alternatively to achieve a comfortable and secure
fit.
9. Fit Check
Negative pressure fit check
1. Place palms over the filter openings.

2. Inhale gently, then check that the respirator
collapses slightly, and no air leaks between the
face and the respirator are detected.
Positive pressure fit check
1. Place palms over the exhalation valve cover.

2. Exhale gently, then check that the respirator
bulges slightly, and no air leaks between the face
and the respirator are detected.
If air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator
on the face and readjust the tension of the head
harness to eliminate the leakage.
Do not use the respirator if good air tightness
cannot be achieved.
10. Maintenance
Exhalation valve
1. Open the exhalation valve cover, and pinch out
the exhalation valve.
2. Push the new exhalation valve onto the centre
stem of the valve seat so that it will fits firmly in

place.
3. Pinch the stem of the exhalation valve and rotate
to ensure it is correctly fitted.
Close the exhalation valve cover.
Inhalation valve
1. Pinch out the inhalation valve.

2. Push the new inhalation valve onto the centre stem
of the valve seat.
Head harness
1. Rotate the hook of the head harness 90° as

shown in the figure.
2. Remove the hook from the yoke.
3. Attach the new hook as shown in the figure.
Gasket
1. Pinch out the gasket from the equipment
connector.

2. Firmly fit the flat side of the new gasket into the
groove of equipment connector.

11. Cleaning
• Use a dry moist cloth to wipe off any dust, sweat, dirt, and
other substances adhering to the face blank, inhalation
valve, inhalation valve seat, exhalation valve, exhalation
valve seat, head harness, and the other parts.
• If the soiling is particularly severe, wash each part in
regular or lukewarm water containing a small amount of
neutral detergent, then rinse in fresh water.
• Dry each part in the shade.
• Put back all removed parts to the original positions.

Perform the cleaning with the filters removed.
2. Do not use a washing machine or a dryer.
3. Do not use acetone or other solvents for
cleaning.
12. Storage
Store the facepiece in a suitable location which is clean,
dry, shady, and has a temperature range which does not
exceed 0°C to +50°C.
Do not store the facepieces by stacking or folding.
13. Shelf Life
No specific shelf life is set for the facepiece or replacement
parts.Refer to "6. Checks Prior to Use".
14. Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with the applicable regulation.
