3 Operation
WARNING
Using the guillotine without the
guard plate can lead to serious
injuries.
• Fold the protective guard upwards.
The guillotine is ready for use.
• Lift the blade up to the limit stop and push the
paper under the paper guide.
Note: The blade can only be lifted if the
protective guard is in an upright posi-
tion.
• Align the paper using the markings on the cut-
ting table.
You can also set the required paper size using
the rear limit stop (except model G3210):
Press the red button and move the limit stop.
• G3210: Press the clamping device downwards
and use it to fi x the sheets on the cutting table.
The paper is automatically clamped in placed
when the blade is lowered on the models
G3325, G4620 and G4640.
• Push down the blade with your right hand.
• On the models G3325, G4620 and G4640,
raise the blade up to the limit stop again to
release the paper from the clamp and remove
the cut paper.
