BASIC SETUP EXAMPLES
Continuous RF signal - (Rotary knob and directional keys)
Requirement
Output a RF signal with 123.4MHz frequency and an amplitude of -15dBm from RF OUT; using the
hard keys and rotary knob.
Starting conditions
Before starting, reset the instrument to default settings as described in 'Initial Conditions'.
Set the frequency
•
Select the frequency parameter window by moving the highlighted area around the screen
using the rotary knob or left/right directional keys.

Press the knob to edit the parameter.
•
Using the left/right directional keys to select digits and the rotary knob or up/down
directional keys to scroll digits set the value to 123.4 Push knob (OK) to enter value.
Set the Amplitude
•
Select the amplitude parameter window with the rotary knob, push to edit.
•
Using the left/right directional keys to select digits and the rotary knob or up/down
directional keys input -15dBm. Push knob (OK) to enter value.
Switch on the output
•
Press the [RF On] hard key.
