IMPORTANT INFORMATION
These operating instructions are part of the hood light and contain important information on commissioning
and handling. Read these operating instructions before use and follow all notices and warnings. Keep
these operating instructions in a safe place and hand them over when passing the hood light on to a third
party. Non-observance of the operating instructions, in particular the safety instructions, can lead to
injuries and material damage.

SAFETY INFORMATION

The product is designed exclusively as a light source. Only use the hood light as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use is considered inappropriate and may result in personal injury or
property damage. The manufacturer / dealer is not liable for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
• This light contains a lithium battery. Batteries may explode if exposed to extreme heat. For this
reason, never expose the hood lamp to excessive heat. This includes exposure to excessive
sunlight. Keep the hood light away from hot surfaces such as hobs or heaters.
• The optical radiation of the hood light can damage the eyes. Never look into the light beam and
never direct the light beam at people or animals.
• Do not allow children to play with the hood light or its packaging.
• Do not allow people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities to use the hood light.
• Keep the hood light in a place that is inaccessible to children and persons mentioned above.
• Never immerse the hood light in water or other liquids.
• Do not expose the hood light to weather influences such as rain or snow.
• Do not drop the hood light.
• Do not disassemble the hood light and do not attempt to repair the hood light.
• Before using, check the hood light, the charger and the car adaptor, do not use any components that
are faulty. Torn housings, damaged cables can cause electric shock.
