Programming the switched-on time
• If the battery charge and the switched-on time are displayed, deactivate this display (see
above under "Displaying battery charge and switched-on duration").
• When nothing remains visible in the display, press and hold the left button longer (at least
approx. 3 seconds). Then the switched-on time is displayed:
„1" = 1 hour
„2" = 2 hours
„3" = 3 hours
„4" = 4 hours
• By repeated short pressing of the right button, the desired switched-on time can be set.
• Wait about 10 seconds; then the display turns off again, and the switched-on time is saved.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The product is maintenance-free.
Clean the solar panel or the other components of the product only with a clean, soft brush. Do
not press too strongly as this may lead to scratch marks or other damage.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions since these might damage the
surface of the casing or impair the operation.
Disposal
a) In general
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions!
b) Disposal of used batteries/rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries / rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols
to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for the
relevant heavy metals are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
You can dispose of your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at your
community's collection point or any place where batteries/rechargeable batteries are
sold!
You thus fulfi l the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
