Intended Use

• Battery operated cordless screwdriver, suitable for light duty screw
driving tasks, using ¼" hex bits

Unpacking your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself
with all its features and functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition.
If any parts are missing or damaged, have such parts replaced

Before Use

Note: This cordless screwdriver has been shipped in a low charge
condition. Charge the battery before use. For the first charge, we
recommend charging for 10 to 12 hours
Charging the battery
1. Connect the Charger (8) to the Charging Socket (4)
2. Connect the Charger to the power supply
3. The Charging Indicator Light (5) will illuminate to show that the
battery is being charged
Note: If light does not illuminate, check all electrical connections.
• The charger will not automatically switch off when the battery is fully
charged; the indicator light will remain on
• After the initial charge, recharge the battery for 5 to 7 hours when
the battery is completely discharged
WARNING: DO NOT 'top up' the battery when it is partially
discharged. ALWAYS discharge completely before recharging.
• DO NOT charge your screwdriver in temperatures below 4°C and
over 40°C
WARNING: DO NOT leave your screwdriver on charge continuously.
This will damage the battery.
Fitting and removing bits
• To use the Screwdriver Bits (7) supplied, insert the bit as far as
possible into the Hex Bit Holder (1)
• Alternatively, insert the Magnetic Bit Holder (6) into the tool's Hex Bit
Holder, and insert a bit into the socket of the magnetic bit holder
• The magnetic bit holder supplied is compatible for use with most
standard sized ¼" hex bits
• To remove a bit, simply pull out of the chuck or magnetic bit holder
Adjusting the handle
• You can adjust the position of the handle for most convenient use
for the particular application
• To change the position of the handle, push the Handle Adjustment
Switch (2) forward and adjust the handle into the desired position
• Release the Handle Adjustment Switch to lock the handle in the new
position

Operation

Switching on and off
1. Press the top of the Forward/Reverse Switch (3) to start the tool
rotating in a clockwise direction
2. Press the bottom of the Forward/Reverse Switch to start the tool
rotating in an anticlockwise direction
3. Release the Forward/Reverse Switch (3) to stop the

Maintenance

Cleaning
• Keep your machine clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause
internal parts to wear quickly, and shorten the machine's service
life. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush or dry cloth.
If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the
ventilation holes

Storage

• Store this tool and its accessories after use in its case, in a dry,
secure place out of the reach of children

Disposal

Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools
that are no longer functional and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, batteries or other waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE), with household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the
correct way to dispose of power tools and batteries
