Pairing
☞
Before starting a pairing process, check that all of the cables have been connected correctly.
• Start the pairing menu, as described in the operating
instructions for the 2.4 GHz digital wireless DVR set
(order no. 752688).
Using this menu, the wireless camera is connected to
the wireless receiver.
• Use the "left" (" ") or right ("
") buttons on the the
DVR set's remote control to select a reception chan-
nel, and then press the "OK" button on the DVR set's
remote.
• You now have ca. 60 seconds to press the button "PAIR" (9) on the camera's connection cable. As soon as
the connection between camera and receiver has been created successfully, the image from the camera
is displayed on the monitor.
Information about the range
The range is a maximum of 200 m.
☞
This value, however, is the so-called "open space range" (the range the transmitter and receiver
are visible to each other, without disturbing infl uences).
In practical operation, however, there are walls, the ceilings of rooms etc. between the transmit-
ter and the receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the different infl uences on the radio transmission, no specifi c range can be guaranteed.
However, trouble-free operation is usually possible in a detached house.
The range can sometimes be limited considerably by:
• Walls, reinforced concrete ceilings
• Coated / metallised insulating glass
• Proximity to metal & conducting objects (e.g., radiators, steel doors)
• Proximity to human bodies
• Broadband interferences, e.g. in residential areas (DECT telephones, mobile phones, radio-controlled
headphones, radio-controlled speakers, radio-controlled weather stations, baby monitors etc.)
• Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units, computers
• Proximity to badly shielded or uncovered computers in use or other electrical appliances
Troubleshooting
No camera picture on monitor
• Check whether the cable connections are correct.
• Select the correct input on the monitor.
• Check the power supply to the camera and DVR set.
• Carry out a pairing between the camera and the DVR set.
Interference lines in the image
• Reduce the distance between the camera and DVR set (but maintain a minimum distance of approx. 2-3 m).
• Point the antennae on the camera and DVR set in a different direction. Normally these should point verti-
cally upwards.
• Increase the distance to other electronic devices (i.e. other appliances that transmit at 2.4GHz, such as a
WLAN router).
