When the cooking is completed,: Wait 20 minutes for the rice
to finish cooking. Fluff the rice with the spatula.

Unplug the rice cooker before removing the lid and rice bowl
from the base..

If using unwashed rice, a thin layer of starch may form at the
bottom of the rice bowl: this is quite normal and can be mixed
in with the rice when fluffing as it does not affect the taste or
texture.

Care and cleaning
After each use the ricebowl, the lid, the measuring cup and the
spatula should be washed in warm, soapy water. Do not use harsh
detergents, abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads. Rinse and
dry carefully. If rice has been cooked onto the bottom of the bowl,
fill the bowl with hot, soapy water and let stand for about 10
minutes. Wipe the base with a clean, damp cloth and dry.
To reduce the risk of electric shock only cook in the removable
container. If water should accidentally enter the switch mechanism
or spill onto the heating plate, carefully unplug the power cord from
the wall outlet. Allow to dry thoroughly before using the appliance
again.
All repairs should be executed by an official service center.
