TIME BALL – Analog projection clock
Caution!
Risk of injury:
• Keep the battery out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into the fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of
explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to pre-
vent damage caused by a leaking battery. Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and
glasses when handling leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.

6. Getting started
• Press the release button on the battery compartment slightly inward and slide the battery
cover at the same time downwards in the direction of the button. You can now remove the
battery cover.
• Insert a new battery 1,5 V AA as indicated by the polarity. The battery is required for the
operation of the internal clock movement.
• To use the projection function, please utilize the mains plug supplied.
• Insert the plug into the connection. Connect the mains plug to a wall socket.
• Press the ON/OFF switch.
• The time is projected on the wall.
• The unit is ready for use.
• Important!
Make sure that your household voltage is 230V! Otherwise your clock may be damaged.

7. Operation
7.1 Setting of the clock
• The display can be focused by pulling or pushing the lens.
• Turn the dial and set the actual clock.
• Close the battery compartment again.
• By inserting the battery compartment cover, please make sure that the two retaining hooks
are properly inserted first.
• The battery compartment cover is properly inserted when a click is heard.
7.2 Changing of the color filters
• Turn off the instrument.
• To change the color filters (red, blue and yellow), rotate the cap at the end of the lens until
the markers (arrows) are on top of each other.
• Carefully remove the cap from the lens.
• When changing, making sure that the two bulges on the color filters are in the appropriate
slots.
• Replace the cap carefully and turn it in direction of the arrow (see marking).
7.3 Positioning and fixing
• Put the projection clock on the provided holder and look for an appropriate position.
• To fix the projection clock on the ceiling please use the included fixing material.
• Pull the grey protective cap from the thread and keep it in a safe place.
• Fold up the screw on the mounting plate at a 90 ° angle.
• Please hold the provided holder that you can read the two markers (OPEN / CLOSE).
• Place the mounting plate with the screw at first on the holder (see marking OPEN / CLOSE).
The two black pins should be placed into the two rectangular openings.
• Slide the mounting plate in the direction of the arrow CLOSE. The two black pins are prop-
erly inserted into the brackets when you hear a click.
• Fasten at first the holder for the ceiling (complete with holder and mounting plate) with
suitable screws (not included) at the desired location. Make sure that the distance from the
wall is sufficient and that there is a socket for the mains plug nearby.
• Now turn the black spacer (knurled nut) on the screw (with the wide side first).
• You can now screw the projection clock on the holder.
8. Care and maintenance
• Clean it with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents. Protect from moisture.
• Remove the battery and pull out the mains plug of the socket, if you do not use the product
for a lengthy period.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
8.1 Battery replacement
• Replace the battery, when the pointers stop moving.
• Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery 1,5 V AA, ensure battery polarity is
correct.
