1. Make sure hook b is properly fastened to the heater.
2. attach hook 'a' onto a secure post, beam or any solid attachment object. you can
also attach hook 'b' on hook 'a' going around an obstacle to install the heater.
note: wait until the heater heating element has cooled down before moving it.
3. Connect the heater to an aC 120V/60hz wall outlet.
4. pull on the switch cord to activate the heater. pull again to turn it off.
reMeMBer, portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating or as a supplementary
heat source. they are not intended to be the main source of heat during cold months.
overheat protection shut–off
If the heater overheat temperature is reached, it will automatically shut off.
the heater can only resume operation when the user resets the unit. please inspect and
remove any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may cause high temperature.
to reset the heater:
1. turn the heater off.
2. Unplug the heater.
3. after 5-10 minutes, plug the unit in again and operate normally.
Caution: Make sure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of empty space above the
heater.
If you must use an extension cord, the cord should be at least no .14 aWg and rated for
no less than 1875 W.
