SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Use the OH 1001 crane only on hard ground; never use cranes on soft ground.
2.
The load to be lifted must never exceed the nominal capacity.
3.
Never operate the hydraulic power unit beyond its maximum label travel.
4.
The crane capacity decreases as the boom extension is extended. Do not load the
crane beyond the nominal capacity for each boom extension position specified as
indicated on the label.
5.
The load hook is equipped with a locking mechanism. Make sure it works properly.
6.
To lift the load in a balanced and stable way. Make sure that the centre of gravity
always remains inside the crane base.
7.
Never place any part of your body under the load.
8.
Do not allow the load to oscillate or fall violently while moving.
9.
The crane is not a transport device. In the event that the load must be removed,
lower the load and boom extension to the lowest possible point before transport.
The crane is not designed to support the load indefinitely, so when the operation is
complete, make sure that the load is completely lowered and supported on a firm
surface.
10.
Perform a visual inspection before each use of the crane. Any crane that appears
damaged should be removed from service.
