GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug.
(2 blades and 1 pin) If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use
an adaptor.
HOW TO USE YOUR TOASTESS PORTABLE COOKING RANGE
Any flat-bottomed pot or container that can be used on a conventional
electric stove element can also be used on the Toastess Portable Cooking
Range. The solid element transfers heat very efficiently to flat bottomed pots.
They are also easy to clean.
1. Place the Portable Cooking Range onto a smooth, dry, flat surface.
2. Be sure that knob is in the 'Off' position and plug into any 120 Volt A.C.
outlet. The element (120 volts 1200 watts) is equipped with an 'On/Off'
temperature Control Knob and Indicator Light.
3. Place filled cookware on element. NOTE: Do not preheat before using.
4. Turn Control Knob clockwise to desired setting. The Indicator Light will
glow and remain on until the knob is turned to the 'Off' position.
The selected temperature will be automatically maintained.
