Safety Instructions
F irst, read the complete operating instructions carefully, as they contain important
information about the proper operation.
D amages due to failure to observe these operating instructions will void the warranty/

• This product may be assembled, commissioned and operated only by suitably quali-
fied professionals and only in compliance with the requirements stated in these op-
erating instructions.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the product
is not permitted.
• As voltage source for the laser, only use the power supply unit enclosed.
• Connect the power supply unit only to a normal mains socket connected to the public
supply network. Before plugging in the power supply unit, check whether the voltage
stated on the power supply unit complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• The power supply unit is designed to comply with protection class II; connection is
via an IP44 mains plug.
For outdoor use, a suitable power socket conforming to protection type IP44 is ab-
solutely necessary. This mains socket must have a residual current circuit breaker
(RCD) with a tripping current of <= 30 mA.
• The product must not be installed and used in areas at risk of flooding. The same
applies to areas (e.g., hollow places) where rainwater can accumulate.
• Never operate the product in or under water; this will destroy it. Furthermore, this
could cause a lethal electric shock!
• Also, extension cables that may be used must be suitable for the use in outdoor
areas. Make sure that the plug connection is never placed in or under water, e.g., in
puddles or in areas where water might accumulate during rain or flooding!
• Power supply units must never be plugged in or disconnected with wet hands.
• A damaged power cable cannot be replaced. In that case, dispose of the power sup-
ply unit in an environmentally responsible way.
• For safety reasons, always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• Adjustments or maintenance work should only be carried out by trained profession-
als who are aware of the dangers. Improperly executed adjustments might result in
dangerous laser radiation.
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is
directed so that no one is in the projection area and that unintentional reflected
beams (e.g., from reflective objects) cannot be directed into areas where people are
present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous if the laser beam or its reflection enters unpro-
tected eyes. Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with
the statutory regulations and safety instructions for operating such a laser device.
• Never look into the laser beam, do not look at it with optical instruments, such as
binoculars, and never point the laser beam at persons or animals. Laser radiation
may result in injuries to the eyes or skin.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncontrolled,
reflected beam may strike people or animals.
• Only operate the laser in an attended area.
• Limit the area of beams as far as possible by using screens or dividing walls.
• Mark the laser area by barriers or warning signs.
• Direct the laser beam in a way that it is not at eye level.
• Caution: If operation settings or procedures other than those described here in these
instructions are used, it could result in exposure to dangerous radiation.
• This product is provided with a Class 2 Laser. Laser signs in different languages are
included in the package. If the sign on the laser is not written in the language of your
country, please affix the appropriate sign onto the laser.
• Never look directly into the laser light source when the device is in operation. The
intense light rays could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger
epileptic seizures in vulnerable persons. This applies in particular to epileptics.
• The device is not a toy. Children and adolescents cannot judge the dangers of elec-
trical devices and lasers.
• Inspect the laser unit for damage from time to time. Should the laser unit or the pow-
er supply unit show any damage, disconnect them from the power supply (unplug
the power supply unit). Do not use the product afterwards, but take it to a specialist
workshop.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy me-
chanical loads.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything
for children.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• If in doubt about how to connect the product correctly, or should any questions arise
that are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical
service or any other professional expert.
• Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual chapters of these oper-
ating instructions.
