DESCRIPTION
The MicroMATV book book is a programmable selective
amplifier with two UHF inputs and 5 tuneable UHF filters,
with a bandwidth that can be configured between 1 and 7
channels; it has a VHF input (BI, BIII or DAB); an FM input and
an Auxiliary input. Each UHF input allows power to be supplied
to an @ktive preamplifier.

INSTALLATION AND START-UP

Connect the unit ground point to the installation ground
point.
Connect the antennae to the unit inputs and charge those
not used with 75 Ω.
Do not enter a signal through the Auxiliary input during
equipment configuration. Charge with 75 Ω.
Connect one 75 Ω load on the output.
Connect the unit to the mains supply.

KEYBOARD FUNCTIONS

The
key enables you to enter or quit the function
OK
selected.
Once inside the function, the
to select the parameter to be modified and the
keys modify the value of the parameter.

INDICATIONS ON THE DISPLAY

A flashing dot indicates the parameter to be modified.
The illuminated dot on the right hand side of the display
indicates that the menu extends to the right.
The dot in the middle of the display indicates that you are
in the Main Menu's function wheel.
PROGRAMMING
When the unit is connected to the mains supply, after a few
seconds the unit goes into standby mode. An illuminated
dot moves across the display.
Press the
key and the text Pin will appear. Press
OK

key again, the code 00 will appear on the display.

Use the
keys to enter the code 23 and press
the
key to access the unit's menu. In any other case,
OK
the menu returns to standby mode.
Once the right code has been entered, you gain access
to the Main Menu. This status is called Start. "--.--"
appears on the display.
Use the arrows to move around the Main Menu's function
wheel: Start; UHF input configuration; UHF filter
programming; VHF input configuration; Output level;
FM level and Memorise.
1. Main menu
1.1. UHF input configuration "In. U"
Enables you to select the number of filters connected
to each UHF input: 5-0, 4-1 or 3-2.
A change in the input configuration resets the
programming of the channels in the UHF filters.
1.2. Programming the UHF filters "Fi.Lt"
The system does not allow you to repeat a channel
or program on an adjacent channel another filter
connected to the same input.
Press the

all digitals.

When several channels are processed in the same filter, the
output level will be lower than the selected one. The output
level can be adjusted manually from the Extended Menu.

UHF preamplifiers: 0V, 12V or 24V.
The voltage selected is the same for the two UHF inputs.
Press the
key to select the UHF input: U1 or U2.
Press the

This function carries out an automatic level adjustment in
UHF and VHF.
Use the
keys to select the output level required.
The dots flash if the unit needs to recalculate the gains.
Press the
arrow to automatically adjust the gains for
the output level selected.
During the process the display shows some moving leds.
If the gains cannot be calculated (you have to check that
there is no signal in the auxiliary input), the display
shows "Err". With the arrows
filters with too high a level "H" or too low "L".
The output level value will be between 100 and 110 dBμV
when any of the unit's signals is analogue. In this case
the gains for the filters with just one digital signal will be
estimated so that this signal is 10 dB lower. In the event
that all the signals are digital, the output level can be
selected between 90 and 100 dBμV. (See point 1.2).
