Location of BHc 6×20 screw
Left-hand side fitting bracket
Fitting kit
- 2 fitting brackets
- 4 M5 threaded fasteners
- 1 BHc 6×20 screw (small head)
- 1 Ø8 steel washer
Assembly
- Place the threaded fasteners on the fitting brackets as indicated on pictures.
- On the left side :
Remove the fitting bracket of the rigid engine cooling hose.
Place the fitting bracket : thanks to a BHc 6×15 screw, fit it on the attachment left open on the bottom of
the engine block (threaded hole on the front of the engine).
Thanks to the 6×20 screw and the Ø6 steel washer, fit this bracket on the rigid hose attachment.
- On the right side :
Thanks to the 6×15 screw, fit the bracket on the fitting shaft remained free (located 3cm at the right of
oil level).
Thanks to the BHc 8×30 screw, the Ø8 washer and the M8 nylock nut, fit the bracket on the free hole
(on the central portion at the front of the engine).
- Place the « silent block » on the belly pan with the flange of the spacer outside of the belly pan. Fit the belly pan
on the fitting brackets with the BHc 5×20 screws.
- Once fitted, the belly pan must have no contact with motor and has to be far enough from complet exhaust
system. Fitting brackets' angles may be a little modified in order to adjust the accessory to every motorbike (do
not fold the fixing brackets while fitted on belly pan).
- Aluminium railings can be put in option at the air intakes, with silicone.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of our
painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* Belly pans will be neither retaken nor exchanged in case of rubbing during a "sports" driving, or during the clearing of pavements, uneven road surfaces ... The fitting of Ermax accessories is planned for a normal road use.
* Move hoses so that they do not fall inside the belly pans. Any deterioration due to flows of corrosive products is not guaranteed.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
