2. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the ebode HDSWITCH51. The HDMI switch, HDSWITCH51 has
a compact size with 5 x HDMI female inputs, 1x HDMI female output to HDMI receiver
device (like HDTV) and is HDCP 1.2 compliant. With the HDSWITCH51 you can connect 5
HDMI devices to your TV or home cinema set. The HDSWITCH51 offers high speed Full
HD 1080p, 3D support, Blu-ray 24fs/ xv-YCC support, deep colour 36bit and signal
retiming. You can go up to 20m with an AWG24 HDMI input cable and 20m with an
AWG24 HDMI output cable. Dolby-AC3/DTS7.1/DSD/DTS-HD/true-HD/LPCM7.1 audio
formats are supported. Select one of the five HDMI signal input sources, manually or
with the included remote control. When switching your devices on and off, it will
automatically jump to the next available source. The source indicator on the
HDSWITCH51 shows the status of the in and output. Optional: HDIK30 – IR over HDMI
accessories to remotely control A/V sources such as a DVD player.

6. Operation

1. Connect your signal source such as DVD, PS3, STB to any available Input (figure 1.2).
2. Connect your display such as LCD, Plasma to the Output of the switch (figure 1.2).
3. Power the switch with the included power supply.
4. Connect the IR adapter kit, HDIK30 (not included) to the switch (figure 1.2).
