HORIZONTAL SLOTTED DUCT
(PN #491RU-HFO, 492RU-HFO, 491RU-HFR, 492RU-HFR)
Mounting the Horizontal Slotted Duct
1. Using standard rack and #12 mounting screws,
mount the duct to the front of the rack.
2. To install the Horizontal Slotted Duct cover, align
the left and right side of the cover with the slotted
duct. Fit the cover over the top of duct fingers.
Pushdown and rotate the cover to the other side
until it snaps into place.
Installing Bend Radius Compliant Cable Router
The Bend Radius Compliant Cable Router is used to
transition patch cords entering and exiting the
Horizontal Slotted Duct.
Install: Snap the Bend Radius Compliant Cable
Router onto the fingers of the Horizontal
Slotted Duct. (Figure 7)
NOTE: The Bend Radius Compliant Cable Router is
compliant with ANSI/TIA/EIA bend radius
standards.
ACCESSORIES
Horizontal front-only extended covers
(PN# 49265-EX1, 49265-EX3)
Extended covers are designed to conceal cables
transitioning from horizontal to vertical ducts.
Install: Fit the cover over top side of duct fingers.
Push down and rotate the cover to the other
side until it snaps into place.
Cable Retainer
(PN# 49265-WR1) (Used with Vertical and Horizontal Ducts)
The Cable Retainer is designed to hold cable within
the slotted duct. The Cable Retainer has four notches,
so it can be snapped off to accommodate different
size slotted ducts.
Install: Slide the Cable Retainer over the duct finger
until it snaps into place. (Figure 4)
Duct Cover Hinge
(PN# 49265-HNG) (Used with Vertical and Horizontal Ducts.)
The Duct Cover Hinge is designed to easily open and
close duct cover for increased protection and easy access.
Install: Attach duct cover first. Snap hinge between
slotted duct fingers and attach to one side of
duct cover. (Figure 5)
NOTE: Use a minimum of two hinges per cover.
