Batteries are supplied but are fitted prior to delivery to avoid possible corrosion issues
during storage and shipping. If the safe door is locked, first open using the external power
supply (see instructions below).
Fit the four AAA size batteries (supplied) into the battery case on the reverse of the door
taking care to observe the correct polarity.
OPENING
1. Press # and type in your PIN code (the factory setting for user 1 is 1 6 8, for user 2 it is 8
8
8 8 8 8 8 8)
If your PIN code is less than eight digits press # to confirm your number after entering
the digits. (e.g. # 1 6 8 #)
2. The LCD display will show "OPEN".
3. Turn the handle to the right (clockwise); the safe door is now open.
N.B. If you do not want the LCD display to show your PIN code when entering it first press #
followed by * and the display will show only small squares when each digit is entered.
If you input an incorrect number when entering in your PIN code press * to delete the last
digit entered. To delete all the digits press * and hold it down for two seconds.
CLOSING
1. Close the door and turn the safe handle to the left (counter clockwise); the safe door is
now locked.
CHANGING THE FIRST USER CODE
1. First, open the safe as described above
2. Press the red RESET button located on the back of the door
3. Enter your new PIN code using the lock key pad; this must consist of between 3 and 8
digits.
4. Press # to confirm your PIN code
5. The LCD display will show "IN"
Your new code has been accepted.
CHANGING THE SECOND CODE
1. First, open the safe as described above
2. Press #
3. Enter 0 0
4. Press the red RESET button located on the back of the door
5. Enter your new PIN code using the lock key pad; this must consist of between 3 and 8
digits.
6. Press # to confirm your PIN code
7. The LCD display will show "IN"
