Accident hazard
Only load CDs into the Sound 30 and the
CD-changer* when the vehicle is at a
standstill. If attempted while driving, the
distraction from the traffic situation leads
to increased danger of accidents.

Injury hazard
The Sound 30 and the CD-changer* are
class 1 laser products. Invisible laser radi-
ation will cause a hazard if the housing is
opened or damaged.
Do not open the housing. Sound 30 and
the CD-changer* do not contain any ser-
viceable parts. For safety reasons, any
maintenance work must be performed ex-
clusively by qualified service experts.
General information

The Sound 30 and the CD-changer* may
not be able to play copy-protected audio
CDs.
CDs should be handled with care in or-
der to prevent malfunction when play-
ing. Avoid leaving fingerprints and dust
on the CDs. You must not write on or at-
tach stickers to CDs.
Clean CDs occasionally with a commer-
cially available cleaning cloth. Do not
use solvents, anti-static spray, etc. for
cleaning purposes and replace the CDs
in the CD box, after use. Protect the CDs
from heat and direct sunlight.
