Instructions for Use
Use
Use the electric blanket on the mattress of your bed.
The electric blanket must be attached to the mattress by
means of the straps.
• Place the electric blanket on the mattress (see Figure
A).
• Release the straps and guide them under the mattress
(see Figure B).
• Pass the straps through the loops on the other side of
the electric blanket and fasten them with knots.
• The electric blanket must lie smoothly on the
mattress and must not be tucked in or contain any
creases.
• Pass the lead out of the bed in such a way that you
can still operate the thermostat.
WARNING:
Under no circumstances should the thermostat be
covered by bedding or cushions! Otherwise this might
result in a malfunction.
Electrical Connection
• Please ensure that the device voltage (see type plate)
and mains voltage are the same.
• Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 230 V,
50 Hz socket with earthing contact.
Switching on
• Move the regulator on the thermostat (2) to the
desired setting.
• The control lamp (3) lights up and shows that the
device is working.
NOTE:
On the fi rst few occasions that this device is used
unusual odours may be produced. These are harmless
and disappear the more the device is used.

Thermostat Settings
You can select from the following settings:

NOTE: You can read off the setting on the control
lamp (3).
Switching off
• Turn the thermostat control to 0 (off ).
• Only then should you remove the plug from the
mains socket.
Cleaning
WARNING:
Always remove the mains plug from the socket before
cleaning the device.
CAUTION:
• The electric blanket together with the thermostat
must not be placed in the washing machine or dry-
cleaned.
• Do not immerse the components in water.
• The thermostat must not be allowed to become
wet.
• If you use water to clean the electric blanket, this
must not be warmer than 30°C. Otherwise the
material could shrink and damage the electrical
system.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not use any stain remover such as foam or
spray.
Removing Stains from the Electric Blanket
• Wipe off the aff ected area with a damp cloth or
sponge. In the case of stubborn stains a gentle soluti-
on of soapy water may be used.
• Excess water can be dabbed off with a towel.
Drying the Electric Blanket
• After cleaning, allow the material to dry in the air.
• To this purpose the entire electric blanket should be
hung over a line.
• Do not use any pegs or similar items.
