outputs may only be connected to the connections of audio devices.
This product may only be operated with the enclosed power supply unit. The power pack may
only be connected to a mains outlet with 230V/50Hz of the public electricity supply network. No
other electrical power supply is permitted.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations, never outdoors. Contact with
moisture, for example in bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any use, other than that described above, may lead to damage to this product and involves
other risks, such as short circuit, fi re and electric shock.
No part of the product may be modifi ed or rebuilt.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.
In the operating manual, an exclamation mark inside a triangle indicates
important instructions.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the
device.
• Prior to commissioning, check the device for damage. If the device is damaged, you must not
use it.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation to the product is not
permitted.
• The microphone amplifi er may only be operated via the supplied power unit.
• The power pack has been designed in protection class II and may only be operated on a
mains socket of the public grid.
• The power unit may never be plugged in or unplugged with wet hands.
• The device is still connected with the mains when it is switched off. To disconnect it from the
power supply completely, the power pack must be pulled out from the mains socket.
• Check the device for damage frequently. Do not touch the power unit, the microphone ampli-
fi er, or the connection cable if they show visible damage. First, switch off the power at the
mains socket (e.g. with the corresponding circuit breaker), and then carefully unplug the
power supply unit from the mains socket. Do not use the product afterwards, but take it to a
specialist workshop.
• Never replace a damaged connecting cable of the power pack. If the connecting cable is
damaged, the power cable is unusable and must be disposed of. Do not repair it.
• Keep electrical devices out of the reach of children. For this reason, be particularly careful
when using the device in the presence of children. They may try to stick objects into the
device through openings in the casing.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water, strong vibrations
or heavy mechanical stress.
• Use the device only in temperate climate regions and not in tropical ones.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or
plants, in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair
the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there is a signifi cant risk of fi re or a lethal
electric shock! In such an event, isolate the mains socket to which the product is connected
(e.g. switch off the automatic fuse) and unplug the power pack from the mains socket. After-
wards, the product can no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not place open sources of fi re such as burning candles on the device.
• Never use the product without supervision.
• Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to connect it safely,
consult a trained technician.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability

Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are to be observed.
• If in doubt about how to connect the product correctly, or should any questions arise that are
not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical service or another
