SAFETY GUIDELINES

1/. Never touch hot surfaces.
2/. Moving and handling the kettle:
- Move the kettle carefully when full, avoiding any sudden movements.
- Never put your face or any other part of your body above the kettle when opening the lid: the steam that
accumulates is extremely hot.
- Never open the lid when the water is boiling.
3/. Do not exceed the maximum fill level indicated on the kettle: if the kettle is filled to excess, boiling water may exit the kettle.
4/. You must add a quantity of water greater than the minimum level indicated.
5/. Keep the kettle itself, the cable and the socket away from water or any other liquid.
6/. Check to make sure that the lid is properly closed before use.
7/. The appliance requires monitoring during use - please keep out of the reach of children.
8/. The kettle should only be used to heat drinking water.
9/. The kettle should never be submerged in water. For cleaning: unplug it, leave it to cool and clean using a damp sponge.
Avoid using abrasive sponges.
10/. Protect the kettle from moisture or frost.
11/. The appliance should be unplugged when no longer in use or when it is being cleaned.
12/. Should the supply cable become damaged or if the appliance suffers damage or is not working properly, have it examined by
qualified personnel.
13/. Empty the contents before travelling.
14/. The kettle should only be used during breaks: it must not be used while driving as this may result in scalding.
15/. In the event of an accident occurring, treat the scald mark with cold water and seek medical assistance (where necessary).
16/. Do not fill with cold water if the appliance is still hot.
17/. To cut down on heating times, fill using only the quantity of water needed.
18/. In order not to discharge the battery of your vehicle, remember to unplug the unit and restart your engine for a few moments.
Make sure your vehicle's engine is turned off before reconnecting the unit.
