Filling with Kerosene:
Open the filler neck's lid and use the supplied funnel
to fill the tank. Pay attention to the tank status display.
Once the display shows "F", the tank is full. Close the lid
and clean up any spilt kerosene.
Ignition:
1. Wait 30 min. after filling, so that the wick can absorb
a sufficient amount of kerosene.
2. Turn the wick adjuster in a clockwise direction to its
max. height. Then, pull up the 3 set screws on the ou-
ter mesh screen to be able to light 2-3 sections with a
match.
3. Push the mesh screen back down and secure the set
screws
.
Regulating the Flame:
It takes approx. 5 min. for the flame to stabilize. After-
wards, you can set it to your desired height. Swing the
heater back and forth 2-3 times while holding on to the
carrying handle, then check the flame once more time.
• If the burner head's mesh is bright red, the flame is set
correctly.
• If the flame is flaring out of the burner head's mesh,
the wick is set too high.
• If the burner head's mesh isn't bright red, the wick is
set too low or the fuel tank is empty.
Changing the Wick:
1
2
Remove the safety
mesh and chimney.
3
Loosen the 4 wing nuts
and remove the cover.
4
Loosen the wick
adjuster by turning it
in a counter-clockwise
direction, then pull it
out towards yourself.
Maintenance and Care:
The wick is made out of fiberglass and has a very long
service life. If the wick is too dirty, it cannot be adjusted
properly. For this reason, it should be cleaned once per
month (with a screwdriver, etc.).
5
Pull the wick holder
and wick upwards and
take the wick out of its
holder.
6
Swap out the old wick
with a new one. The
new wick should protru-
de approx. 59 mm out
of the wick holder.
7
Place with wick holder
and wick back into the
heater – remove the
rubber gasket for easier
placement.
8
Fix the wick holder and
wick into place by using
the wick adjuster, then
put the rubber gasket
back into place.
9
After fully reassembling
the heater, test it in a
safe area.
