3.0 Usage and Behaviour

Improper use of, or behaviour on, your trampoline can lead to
serious injury. Please follow these usage and behaviour
instructions to ensure safe play.

3.1 Safe use information

● Maximum user weight: 150 kg.
● Domestic and outdoor use only.
● Suitable for ages 6 and over.
● Single user only at all times.
3.2 Save use instructions
To reduce the risk of injury while using the trampoline, enforce
the following:
● Do not bounce in strong wind conditions or inclement weather
and keep the trampoline secure.
● Ensure active and competent adult supervision at all times
while children are using the trampoline. Children are often
unable to identify hazards or properly assess risk.
● Avoid eating or drinking while bouncing.
● Empty pockets and hands before bouncing.
● Wear comfortable clothing that allows full and free movement.
● Do not wear jewellery, drawstrings, cords, loops, buckles or
anything that could entangle in trampoline components
and become a strangulation hazard, a contact hazard or
damage the trampoline.
● Remove shoes, as they may damage the bed and increase the
risk of injury.
● C limbonandoffthetrampoline.Neverjumporbounceoff.
● D onotusethespringsas'handgrips'whengettingontooroff
the trampoline.
● Never intentionally jump into the safety net, don't let it ricochet
you, do not hang yourself from the top of the net or try to
climb over it!
● Make sure that the areas around, underneath and above the
trampoline are clear.
● Do not allow children, pets, toys, or other play equipment
underneath the trampoline!
● Learn fundamental bounces and body positions before trying
more advanced manoeuvres.
● Demonstrate safe use for children before allowing them onto
the trampoline.
3.0 Usage and Behaviour

3.3 Basic trampolining instructions

This trampoline is a domestic model, not a gymnastics trampoline
to be used in schools or sports clubs.
You will get the safest and best use from it by following these
basic principles:
● Trampoline jumping can involve extreme and unfamiliar move-
ments, even at unfamiliar heights.
Onlyusethetrampolinewhenyouarephysicallyfit!Ifindoubt,
consult a doctor beforehand.
● Avoid bouncing too high. Stay low until you can control your
bounce and repeatedly land in the centre of the trampoline.
● Stop jumping if you land more than 30 cm from the logo in the
middle! Start again in the middle, on the logo.
● S topyourbouncebyflexingyourkneesasyourfeetcomein
contact with the trampoline bed. Learn this skill before you
attempt any others.
● Learn basic jumps and postures before trying more advanced
maneuvers.
● Focus your eyes on the edge of the trampoline. This will help
control your bounce.
● Do not attempt or allow somersaults on the trampoline.
Landing on your head or neck while doing somersaults can
cause serious injury, paralysis or even death.
● Never jump onto the trampoline from trees, balconies,
or the like!
● Do not use the trampoline as a springboard to other objects.
Use the trampoline only for trampolinestyle bouncing.
● Never jump higher than the Safety Net!
● Do not use the trampoline when wet. The Jump Mat will be
slippery and make landing less secure.
● Do not allow users to intentionally bounce into or over the
Safety Net, as this can unbalance the trampoline and
continual impact may damage the enclosure. Always jump in
the middle of the Jump Mat.
● Do not let anyone climb around the trampoline or hang
on to the net!
● D onotuseatrampolinewhileundertheinfluenceofalcohol
or drugs. Balance, perception, and assessment of risk will be

● Do not bounce immediately after a meal.
● Limit the time of continuous usage.
To learn advanced trampoline jumping, please contact a suitable
sports or trampoline club.

3.4 Warm-up phase, before it really starts

CONTACT BOUNCES
Stand on the trampoline with legs apart at shoulder width and with
knees slightly bent, hands on hips. Hop very lightly, so that your
feetareonlyslightlyoffthemat.
When performing contact jumps, shift your weight to one side and
only touch the trampoline with one foot while the other leg is bent
back slightly. Change legs after every jump.
FOOT TAPS
Starting position as above, relieve one foot, lift it up slightly and
lightly tap the mat, then put it back down. Repeat the exercise
several times alternately with the other foot.
SIDE TO SIDE
Standing slightly to the side of the centre of the Jumping Mat jump
so that you land with both legs on the opposite side of the mat.
BASE JUMP
Rock a little while standing in the middle of the Jumping Mat.
Lift your arms up on the sides of your body and pull up your body.
Keep legs and feet closed. Land with both legs at the same time on
the Jumping Mat and swing your arms down again.
KNEE JUMP
Perform low base jumps and land on your knees with your back
straight. The arms ensure balance. Jump back from your knees to
the starting position by pulling up your arms.
SIT JUMP
Land in a sitting position with your hands next to your hips. Push
yourself up with your hands and jump back to the upright position.
For safety reasons, please learn and practice further techniques
with the help of trained trampoline instructors!
