RECHARGING THE ACCUMULATOR
Under no circumstances recharge the watch under illuminants with high
heat emission. This may damage the watch.
The accumulator cen either be recharged by sunlight or by artifi cial light.
When charging with sunlight place the watch upside down on a window tray or at
a sunny location with direct sunlight.
When charging with artifi cial light place the watch upside down under a fl uores-
cent lamp, since those is more comparable to sunlight. Due to the low heat emis-
sion of fl uorescent lamps the watch will not be damaged, provided that you keep
a minimum safety distance of approx. 5 cm. With other lamps with higher heat
emission the distance should be at least 20cm.
It is recommended to charge the accumulator every week. Ideally the accumula-
tor has to be recharged every fi ve months.
If the accumulator is charged suffi ciently the time of day is set automatically.
The watch is operated with an accumulator of type ML 2016. The life cycle of
the accumulator is limited, therefore the accumulator has to be replaced after
a few years. In order to avoid damages we recommend to have the accumulator
replaced by a watch maker or a jeweller.
After replacing the accumulator it takes about 10 minutes unti the watch shows
the correct time.

The watch is maintenance-free. Clean the watch only with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the
case and the wrist band could be damaged.
