Summary:
Positioning of the Power Unit
Important: The Power Unit must be positioned outside of the ATEX hazardous area zone. Only the
Bar and cable are certified for positioning inside the hazardous area.
Connecting the Static Eliminator Bars
Make sure that the electrical supply is turned off before starting.
•
Remove plastic cap from threaded bush on power unit.
•
Push in cable connector

•
Emitters facing material.
•
Bar >50mm from rollers or machine parts.
•
Material in free air.
•
Distance "A": 25mm to 150mm. Closer is
better.
•
Distance "B" : if there are two bars, offset
them >50mm.
•
Dry and Oil-free.
•
Power Unit must be outside zoned area.
Only the Bar and Cable are certified for
installing in the ATEX zone.
