If the filter is still heavily contaminated after cleaning with a brush, or after collecting fine dust,
rinse the filter with water, Figure 7. After rinsing, allow the filter to dry completely before you
replace it, Figure 8.
6.5 REPLACING THE FUSE IN THE CONNECTION PLUG
Turn the knurled screw at the tip of the 12 V connector anti-clockwise until it is released from
the connector and it can be removed. The fuse is exposed and can be remove from the connector.
Replace the fuse with another of the same strength (fast, 15 A, 250 V, 6 x 30) and screw the knurled
screw back into the connector.
7. CLEANING AND STORAGE
7.1 CLEANING
Only clean the vacuum cleaner with a soft cloth and do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or
solvents. Never allow liquids to ingress into the housing. Read section 6.4 for instructions on how
to clean the filter.
7.2 STORAGE
When not in use, store the vacuum cleaner in a dry place. Do not expose the vacuum cleaner to damp,
oil, dust, dirt, high temperatures, strong vibrations or mechanical loads. Always wind the connection
cable up carefully and store in such a way as to ensure it is not damaged.
8. NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household waste! Electrical and electronic
scrap must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally responsible
manner for recycling. Please contact your community or city administration regarding
disposal options for electrical and electronic scrap. The materials are recyclable. You make
an important contribution to protecting our environment by recycling, material utilisati-
on or other forms of reusing waste equipment!
