1) GENERAL INFORMATION
– This handbook is an integral part of the product and must be handed over to the user.
Read the handbook carefully as it contains important information on installation, use and
maintenance safety.
Conserve this handbook for future consultation.
Installation must be carried out in compliance with the laws and standards in force, in accordance with manu-
facturer's instructions and by professionally qualified personnel only.
The term "professionally qualified personnel" means persons having technical skills in the field of components
for residential heating systems used to produce domestic hot water and, in particular, manufacturer-authori-
sed servicing centres.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any injury to persons and animals or damage to objects caused by
incorrect installation.
– After removing all the packaging check that the contents are undamaged.
If in doubt do not use the unit and consult the supplier.
The packaging (wooden crate, staples, clips, plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, etc.) is a
potential source of danger and must be kept out of children's reach.
– Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work disconnect the unit from the mains via the main
system switch and/or circuit breaker.
– Do not obstruct intake or outlet vents.
– In the event of a breakdown and/or unit malfunction, deactivate it and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
Seek assistance from professionally qualified personnel only.
Product repairs must only be carried out by a manufacturer-authorised servicing centre, using only original
spare parts.
Failure to observe the above may compromise the safety of the unit.
To guarantee proper, efficient operation, periodic maintenance must be carried out by professionally qualified
personnel in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions.
– Should you decide to put the unit out of service definitively all possible sources of danger must be neutralised.
– Should the unit be sold or transferred to another owner or should you move and leave the unit in place
always make sure that the handbook stays with the unit so that it may be consulted by the new owner and/or
installer.
– For all units with optionals or kits (including electrical items) only original accessories must be used.
– This unit must only be used for the purpose for which it has expressly been designed. Any other use shall be
considered improper and therefore dangerous.
– The manufacturer is not subject to any contractual or extra-contractual liability for damages caused by impro-
per installation or use or failure to observe the instructions provided by said manufacturer.
2) SPECIAL INFORMATION ON BURNERS
BURNERS
– The burner must be installed in a suitable room having the minimum ventilation apertures required by the
standards in force and, in any case, sufficient ventilation for optimum combustion.
– Only burners conforming with standards in force may be used.
– This burner must only be used for the purpose for which it has been designed.
– Before connecting up the burner make sure that ID plate data corresponds with the available power/fuel sup-
ply (electricity, gas, light oil or other fuel).
– Do not touch hot parts of the boiler. These, normally located near the flame or any fuel preheating system,
become hot during operation and stay hot for some time after the burner has shut down.
