Removing the rechargeable
battery
1. With a suitable screwdriver, loosen the screw
on the battery compartment (1d) on the bot-
tom of the car (1) and remove the cover (1c).
2. Take out the rechargeable battery (4).
NOTE: If the battery connector (4a) is connect-
ed to the car (1), you must disconnect this before
removing the rechargeable battery (4) from the
car (1).

Operating the remote control

1. Hold the remote control in your left hand
pointing toward the car (Fig. E).
2. Put the index finger of your left hand on the
accelerator (2b).
3. Turn the steering wheel (2a) on the remote
control with your right hand to determine the
car's direction.
Turning the product on and
off
• To control the product with the remote control,
the remote control (2) and the car must be
turned on.
To turn the car on or off, flip the switch (1b)
on the bottom of the car to ON to turn it on or
OFF to turn it off.
To turn the remote control (2) on or off, flip the
switch (2e) on the remote control to ON to
turn it on or OFF to turn it off.
• When the product is not in use, the remote
control and the car must be turned off. Flip the
on/off switch on the car (1b) and the remote
control (2e) to OFF.

Controlling the car

The car can be steered in different directions
using the remote control.
You can choose between 2 steering modes:

Standard mode

To steer the car in standard mode, slide the
reverse steering switch (2c) and the reverse
accelerator switch (2d) on the remote control to
"N" (normal).
• Pull back on the accelerator (2b): Car drives
forward (Fig. I).
• Push the accelerator (2b) forward: Car drives
backward (Fig. J).
• Turn the steering wheel (2a) back while
pulling back on the accelerator: Car turns left
(Fig. K).
• Turn the steering wheel (2a) forward while
pulling back on the accelerator: Car turns
right (Fig. L).
• Turn the steering wheel (2a) back while
pushing the accelerator forward: Car drives
backward to the left (Fig. M).
• Turn the steering wheel (2a) forward while
pushing the accelerator forward: Car drives
backward to the right (Fig. N).

Reverse mode

To steer the car in reverse mode, slide the
reverse steering switch (2c) and the reverse
accelerator (2d) on the remote control to "R"
(reverse).
Reverse steering
If the reverse steering switch is set to "R", the car
can be steered as follows:
• Push the accelerator (2b) forward: Car drives
forward.
• Pull back on the accelerator (2b): Car drives
backward.
Reverse acceleration
If the reverse accelerator switch is set to "R", the
car can be steered as follows:
• Steering wheel (2a) forward: Car turns left.
• Steering wheel (2a) back: Car turns right.
Trimming the front axle
(Fig. O)
If the car is no longer going straight even though
you are instructing it to drive forward with the re-
mote control, you can follow the following steps:
1. If the car drifts to the right, push the trim lever
(1a) a bit to the left.
2. If the car drifts to the left, push the trim lever
(1a) a bit to the right.
3. Repeat steps 1 or 2 if the car still does not
drive straight.
