Installing the Batteries
• Remove the battery cover from the back of the speaker by
carefully flipping up the cover.
• Insert battery, making sure that the positive (+) and negative (-)
ends of the battery match the polarity indicators inside the battery
housing.
• Snap the battery cover back into position.
WARNING: WHEN REPLACING THE BATTERIES, YOU MAY USE ALKALINE OR OTHER
HEAVY DUTY NiMH BATTERIES. NEVER USE AN ALKALINE WITH A NiMH BATTERY IN
A DEVICE. AVOID MIXING NEW AND USED BATTERIES IN A DEVICE
Operating instructions
The Targus MiniTunes Personal Speakers are a compact,
lightweight way to enjoy your iPod/MP3 player. Featuring a high-
efficiency speaker driver, 3.5mm headphone jack and high-quality
sound, these plug-in speakers can be rotated to suit your listening
pleasure. Simply plug the speakers into the jack of your iPod/MP3
player. The speakers operate with a single AA battery for more than
10 hours of continuous play.
CAUTION: Using an incompatible accessory with your MP3 player could lead to its
damage or malfunction.

Installation des piles
• Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à pile à situé à l'arrière du
haut-parleur en le faisant basculer avec précaution vers le haut.
• Insérez la pile, en vous assurant que les extrémités positive (+) et
négative (-) de la pile correspondent aux marques de polarité dans
le compartiment.
• Remettez le couvercle du compartiment à pile en place.
ATTENTION : LORS DU REMPLACEMENT DES PILES, VOUS DEVEZ UTILISER DES
PILES ALCALINE OU D'AUTRES PILES NiMH LONGUE DURÉE. N'UTILISEZ JAMAIS
UNE PILE ALCALINE AVEC UNE PILE NiMH DANS UN MÊME APPAREIL. ÉVITEZ DE
MÉLANGER DES PILES NEUVES ET DES PILES DÉJÀ UTILISÉES DANS UN MÊME

Les haut-parleurs personnels MiniTunes de Targus sont un moyen
compact et léger de profiter de votre lecteur iPod/MP3. Dotés d'un
pilote de haut-parleur hautement efficace, d'une prise de casque
3,5 mm et d'un son d'une très haute qualité, il est possible de faire
pivoter ces haut-parleurs pour satisfaire vos besoins d'écoute. Pour
cela, il suffit de les brancher sur la prise de votre lecteur iPod/MP3.
Les haut-parleurs fonctionnent avec une seule pile AA, offrant ainsi
10 heures d'écoute continue.
AVERTISSEMENT : l'utilisation d'un accessoire non compatible avec votre
lecteur MP3 risque de l'endommager ou d'entraîner un fonctionnement

Einsetzen der Batterien
• Entfernen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf der Rückseite des
Lautsprechers, indem Sie ihn vorsichtig aufklappen.
• Setzen Sie die Batterie ein und achten Sie dabei darauf, dass der
positive (+) und der negative (-) Pol der Batterie mit den entsprech-
enden Markierungen im Batteriefach übereinstimmen.
• Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder.
