CAUTION
Read the following instructions carefully before
using the pyroweederadicator and keep them for
future reference. These instructions provide all
the information necessary for correct use of the
appliance to avoid damage and danger.
OXYTURBO is not responsible for any damage
occurring due to incorrect use of the appliance or to
modifications made to it.
1. GAS SUPPLY
This pyroweederadicator is fed by a butane/propane
gas cartridge with threaded valve complying with EN
417.
We recommend using OXYTURBO cartridges model
Propan/Butan 210g - 330g.
CAUTIONS
As OXYTURBO cartridges model Propan/
Butan are equipped with a valve, it is possible
to remove them even if they are not completely
empty.
-
Attention ! It may be dangerous to use cartridges
different from those with valve.
-
Bioflamme must be used with a 7/16 valve gas
cartridge.
2. PUTTING INTO SERVICE
2.1 HOW TO FIT THE CARTRIDGE
-
Make sure the pyroweederadicator valve is closed,
turn the adjusting knob (5) clockwise.
-
Fit a new gasket (4) if damaged or missing.
-
Keep the cartridge upright and screw it tightly into
the gas inlet clockwise (fig.1).
2.2 REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE
-
Make sure the valve is closed, turn the adjusting
knob (5) clockwise.
-
Unscrew the cartridge from the pyroweederadicator
in an anticlockwise direction.
CAUTIONS
Always fit or remove the cartridge in a well
ventilated area, preferably outdoors away from
inflammable materials or substances and from
glowing sources of heat (such as naked flames,
lit cigarettes, electrical rings, etc.) far away
from persons or animals.
Do not use the pyroweederadicator if the gasket
(4) is damaged or missing (see 5.3).
Do not puncture, pierce or incinerate, even after
use.
To protect the environment, dispose of the
cartridge in a safe place and preferably in a
recycling bin.

Immediately press the ignition button (11) down
until the gas leaving the burner ignites (fig.3).
Pyroweederadicator with normal ignition

3.3 SELECTIVE PYROWEEDERADICATOR
OXYTURBO
pyroweederadicator
environmentally friendly and non-toxic method of
disposing of unsightly weeds on patios, driveways,
paths, etc. This product is not intended for use on
lawns and flower beds.
When the flame is applied to the upper part of the
weeds, it dehydrates their leaves and dries them
up.
The weeds are not supposed to be burned, but
instead only heated with the flame ends. So keep
a suitable distance between the flame ends and the
plants.
In case of stronger weeds (wild cabbage, taproot
growth, etc.), the heating effect should be applied
for a longer time as compared to normal weeds and
a repeated tratment may be necessary after few
days.
CAUTIONS
The pyroweederadicator must be used in a
well-ventilated area, away from inflammable
materials or substances. Fire hazard!
When operating the device, keep the nozzle
pointed downwards to avoid flaring. If this
happens, keep the pyroweederadicator in a
vertical position for a few seconds.
The pyroweederadicator must be used when the
grass and weeds are dry.
Warning! When the ground is too dry the risk
of a widespread fire is present.
Do not use the appliance when the ground and
6
the weeds are wet.
When lit the pyroweederadicator should never
be left unsupervised.
It is dangerous to use damaged or incorrectly
functioning equipment.
In case of gas delivery problems, check there is
gas in the cartridge (see 5.4). If so, the problem
could be resolved by cleaning the injector (see
5.5).
3.4 PUTTING OUT
-
Turn the adjusting knob (5), clockwise until
completely closed.
CAUTIONS
During use, parts of the pyroweederadicator
can reach high temperatures. After putting it
out, let it cool before handling.
Warning! After closing the gas valve there is
still gas present in the extension pipe which
causes the flame from the burner to continue for
a short time.
4. STORAGE
-
Unscrew the cartridge from the device (see 2.2).
-
Store the weederadicator and the cartridge in a
