Installing the Batteries
The MyGuard Personal Alarm runs on two 2032 Lithium batteries
(included). To install these batteries:
1. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to
unscrew the battery door latch on
the back of the MyGuard clip. Then
remove the battery door.
2. Insert the 2032 batteries into the
battery compartment with the plus-
signs facing up.
3. Put the battery door back in place.
Then screw the latch until it's
secure.
Discard button batteries carefully.
• Do not allow children to play with button batteries, and keep button batteries out of
your child's reach.
• Caution users to keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Never put button batteries in your mouth for any reason as they are easily swallowed
accidentally.
• Always check medications before ingesting them. Adults have swallowed button
batteries mistaken for pills or tablets.
• Keep remotes and other electronics out of your child's reach if the battery com-
partments do not have a screw to secure them. Use tape to help secure the battery
compartment.
• If a button battery is ingested, immediately seek medical attention. The National
Battery Ingestion Hotline is available anytime at (202) 625-3333 (call collect if
necessary), or call your poison center at (800) 222-1222.
Using the MyGuard Personal Alarm
The MyGuard Personal Alarm offers a flashlight and a personal
alarm. Here's how to use them.
Using the Flashlight
To turn on the MyGuard Personal
Alarm's built-in flashlight: Press and
hold the LIGHT button on the left side of the
MyGuard Clip.

Activating the Alarm
To activate the alarm: Pull the
pin out of the right side of the
MyGuard Personal Alarm.
To turn the alarm off: Put the
Battery
pin back in the slot on the right
door latch
side of the MyGuard Personal
Alarm. (You can use one of the
extra pins as well.)

Installation des piles
