Assembly
A hori z ontal di s tance of at l e ast 0.4 m i s to be
mai n tai n ed between ful l y unrol l e d dri v en part and any
permanent obj e ct.
Means for di s connecti o n havi n g a contact separati o n
accordance wi t h the wi r i n g rul e s.
When you are ready to unpack and assembl e the
awni n g, make sure that you have the appropri a te
and space, and a dean and dry area to perform the
i n stal l a ti o n.
Swi t ch the power off before cabl e i n stal l a ti o n.
Choosing a safe location
Never i n stal l i t i n hi g h and wi n dy pl a ces, as the
sunshade may drop and hurt peopl e .
The l o cati o n for mounti n g your automati o n devi c e: thi s
l o cati o n must al l o w for the automati o n devi c e to pi c k up
the si g nal s easi l y to ensure maxi m um sensi t i v i t y of the
command box.
Do not use i t In pl a ces that have vi b rati o ns or
i m pul s i o ns.
In case of use of a command box, the el e ctroni c s board
must be set verti c al l y and shel t ered from the weather.
The i n stal l a ti o n can be made by non-professi o nal s
assumi n g the i n structi o n i s fol l o wed correctl y . Shoul d
you have any troubl e duri n g assembl y , pl e ase consul t a

Electrical safety
CAUTION: The setup must compl y wi t h the
NCF 1 S-100 standard. For your safety, pl e ase make
sure that the el e ctri c current i s swi t ched off before
carryi n g out any setup or connecti o n operati o n.
Before connecti n g the appl i a nce to the power suppl y ,
check that the power suppl y vol t age and current rati n g
corresponds wi t h the power suppl y detai l s shown on the
appl i a nce rati n g l a bel . A readi l y accessi b l e di s connect
compl i a nce wi t h setup regul a ti o ns. Danger of el e ctri c
shock! Do not attempt to repai r the appl i a nce yoursel f .
In case of mal f uncti o n, repai r s are to be conducted by

Never open the el e ctroni c command box (thi s wi l l voi d
the warranty).
Never use accessori e s whi c h are not recommended by
the manufacturer. They coul d pose a safety ri s k to the
user and mi g ht damage the appl i a nce. Onl y use ori g i n al
parts and accessori e s.
Do not hang anythi n g on the frame or on the fol d i n g
arms as the awni n g may fal l down and cause damage
or personal i n j u ry.
Do not use thi s appl i a nce i n adverse weather
condi t i o ns. If wi n d speeds are stronger than 4 on the
Beaufort wi n d force scal e , retract the awni n g.
Never use the appl i a nce on rai n y days.
Do not use i t i n pl a ces of hi g h temperature such as
wal l s near furnaces.

awni n g.
