The unit is intended for portable use only. It is not designed for permanent
installation.
•
The unit is equipped with a built-in fan to dissipate heat. Do not impede the
fan or block air flow around it. Do not place any objects close to the front
of the unit while it is running.
•
Never operate the unit in an enclosed or poorly ventilated space without
adequate and free air flow by means of an air conditioning system or an
open window such as in a vehicle compartment or a boat cabin.
•
Unplug the unit when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool
before cleaning and storing.
•
Do not leave out in the rain or allow the unit to be immersed in water.
•
During and shortly after operation, do not touch the heating/cooling
element inside the storage compartment; it can reach very high
temperatures.
•
Do not allow children to use unsupervised.
•
Do not switch the unit directly between cooling and warming modes. Turn
the unit off and wait at least 30 minutes before switching to new mode.
•
Do not eat or drink perishable items that may have become spoiled without
proper temperature control.
•
The unit is not designed for storing open containers of liquids.
