When you have not used your appliance for a fairly long time
the drive shaft may get stuck due to small foodstuff residues
which have hardened and are now gumming up the lower
shaft bearing.
Place your ESGE-Zauberstab
with hot water and a mild detergent, then switch it on. In
general your ESGE-Zauberstab
just try to free the shaft carefully with pliers.
Should the shaft still not rotate, the fault probably lies else-
where, and the appliance should be sent to our repair service.
If sticky ingredients such as egg, sugar, honey are processed,
it is best to hold the appliance together with the attachment
for a minute or two in the washing-up water. Water will not
harm the housing, but the cable outlet must not get wet.
