Materials / Turning on
Printer

Remove the packing materials (such as orange
tape and protective film on the LCD) from outside
the printer.

Hook the hollows on the both sides of the printer
with your fingers and open the scanning unit /
cover.

Remove the orange tape and the protective
material and discard them.

Close the scanning unit / cover.

Connect the power cord diagonally from the back.
Back
Do not connect any cables except the power cord
yet.

Lift the operation panel and press the ON button.

Use the { or } button to select a language, and
then press the OK button.

Press the OK button.

refer to "Sending Data To Canon" in Safety and

Use the { or } button to select Agree or Do not
agree, and then press the OK button.

Read the messages and press the OK button.
