Operation
Before the first Use
Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children.
There is a danger of suffocation!
The callipers are not a toy and do not belong in the hands of children.
Important note
This dial gauge is a precision instrument and should be handled with care
accordingly. Avoid exposing the dial gauge to large impacts, vibrations or other
mechanical actions and do not let the dial gauge drop.
Scales
One graduation mark on the surrounding scale equals one hundredth of a
millimetre. A full revolution of the pointer along the surrounding scale equals one
millimetre.
The small scale indicates full millimetres. One revolution of the pointer along the
small scale equals one centimetre.
Zero setting
The zero point of the surrounding scale can be adjusted by turning the scale. When
the dial gauge is positioned, turn the scale to set the position of the zero point.
Maintenance and storage
Do not use any aggressive chemicals, solvents or abrasives to clean the dial
gauge.
Store the dial gauge in the box supplied in a place protected from direct sunlight,
dust, moisture, extreme temperatures and vibrations. Keep the dial gauge out of
the reach of children.
