• Only use this heating pad in combination with the switch indicated
on the label.
• Under certain conditions, the electric and magnetic fields
transmitted by this heating pad could affect the operation of your
pacemaker. However, the radiation values are far below the limit
values: electric field strength: max. 5000 V/m, magnetic field
strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla.
Therefore, contact your physician or the manufacturer of your
pacemaker prior to using this heating pad.
• Do not pull, twist or sharply fold the cords.
• Regularly check the heating pad for signs of wear and tear or
damage. If there are signs of wear and tear or damage, or if the
heating pad has not been used as intended, or the pad no longer
gets warm, have the heating pad checked by the manufacturer
prior to use.
• If the mains cable of this appliance gets damaged, have it replaced
by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified
person in order to prevent hazardous situations.
• While the heating pad is switched on, it is not permitted to
– place objects (e.g. suitcases or laundry baskets) on it,
– place heat sources such as hot water bottles, etc. on it.
• The electronic components in the switch become warm when
using the heating pad. That is why the switch may not be covered
or placed on the heating pad when it is being used.
