Filling and heating

The best heating is obtained by breaking the tablets in pieces. Don't add all the pieces at the same time,
but start with only a few of them. Add new tablets when these are melted. You can speed up the heating
process by regularly stirring the parafin and by temporarily increasing the temperature on the
thermometer (to 80 or 90º C). Read just the thermometer to the correct value after the required
temperature is reached.
Paraligno® en Parafango®
Due to the different composition and the higher melting temperature, it takes longer to heat these
materials than paraffin. It is advisable to use only a limited quantity of approximately 6 kg of Paraligno or
Parafango. The material should be stirred and turned regularly in order to obtain evenly distributed heat
and to prevent sedimentation. Heating duration: 3 to 4 hours.
4.3

Daily use

The tank has excellent heat insulation. Once the required temperature is reached, very little current is
used. It is therefore not advisable to switch off the Fango Heater in the evening. It is very difficult to heat a
large amount of Paraligno and Parafango after it has cooled down.

Sterilization

For hygienic reasons it is advisable to sterilize the paraffin wax once per week. Press the
sterilization switch [5]; control lamps for heating [4] and sterilization [6] now light. The paraffin wax is now
heated to approx. 135º C. When this temperature is reached, the heater switches off and the control
lamps [4] and [5] go out. Then the paraffin wax cools down to the temperature preset with the thermostat.
If you want to interrupt the sterilization, simply switch off the unit [1].
Attention, during sterilisation injury may occur (burns). Avoid contact with the heat carrier during
sterilisation!
