All repairs must be performed by a TRIBORD authorised service centre, using only original spare
parts.
The routine maintenance outlined in this manual can be performed by the user, who must carefully
follow the procedures indicated.
The owner is responsible for any malfunction of the regulator if it has not been verified and
reviewed by a TRIBORD authorised service centre, or if the regulator has been used for purposes
other than recreational diving, or if repairs and maintenance were not carried out using original
spare parts.
TRIBORD shall not be held responsible under any circumstances for damage if the above
conditions are not met.
WARNING: This document is not a scuba diving manual. Before using the regulator or
any other diving equipment, you must get training and certification from a certified diving
instructor. The use of diving equipment by people who do not possess a diving licence
can result in serious injury or death.
DANGER: All TRIBORD regulators use NBR gaskets and are lubricated with silicon
grease.
Current European standards EN 13949 and EN 144/3 specify that all devices that use
gas with a percentage of oxygen above 22% must pass a certification test with pure
oxygen.
The equipment described above does not pass this test.
TRIBORD regulators and octopuses are designed and developed for use only in
atmospheric and compressed air.
Do not use this equipment with other gases or with air enriched with oxygen.
If the above instructions are not followed, it can lead to premature wear of the equipment,
malfunction and potential explosions that can cause serious injury.

to supplement the knowledge of diving regulators that you acquired during your training
courses.

regulator.
• Take a diving course and get certified by a qualified instructor, stay up to date and
regularly practise your skills.
• You should know all the emergency procedures when using your equipment.
• Practise several dives to gain more self-control.
• Do not dive alone.
