(water, splatters...) but not unlimited protection to the eyes. This face shield is not electrical
compliant. Please read these instructions carefully before using for the safety sake.

Face shield - M-5002A – User guide
Description
The face shields M-5002A are designed for face and eye protection against speed particles
(120 m/s). They are light by weight comfortable to wear. The materials used in these face
shields do not contain any substances known to cause allergic reactions. However, it may
be possible for certain susceptible individuals to develop allergies to the materials used.
Standards and Approval
These safety spectacles M-5002A are classed as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by
the European PPE new regulation (EU) 2016/425 and have been shown to comply with
this regulation through the Harmonized European Standard EN166:2001: Personal Eye
Protection.
Use

Assembly
Assemble the face shield as the following instruction.

There are 4 stop positions available to adjust the angle from the welders' eyes to the visor
(as circled).

Rotate ratchet control knob to expand or contract band
until the headgear fits your head properly.
Warning
Face shields provide only limited protection and are not unbreakable. Large objects
and/or objects at high speeds (Impact Energy > 120 m/s) may break or penetrate the face
shield and injure the wearer's face or eyes. Eye protectors against high speed particles
worn over standard ophthalmic spectacles may transmit impacts, thus creating a hazard
to the wearer. Any damaged face shield must be replaced immediately.

Compatibility of marking
The headgear and the visor are level B for energy impact – it is the symbol which is
assigned to the complete assembled eye-protectors. If symbols F, B & A are not common
to both the ocular and the headgear, then it is the lower level which shall be assigned to
the complete eye – protector.
If protection against high speed particles at extremes of temperature is required then the
selected eye-protector should be marked with the letter T immediately after the impact
letter, i.e. FT, BT or AT. If the impact letter is not followed by the letter T then the eye
protector shall only be used against high speed particles at room temperature.
Cleaning and Storage
Flush frame with lukewarm water, then wipe it with dry cloth. Use compressed air to blow
dust on ocular surface. If the ocular is scratched, it must be replaced. DO NOT use solvents.
Store this product in a dry place, sheltered from sun light.

Ecran facial M-5002A - Notice d'utilisation
Description
L'écran de protection M-5002A a été conçu pour la protection contre les particules
lancées à moyenne vitesse (120 m/s). Il est léger et confortable à porter. Les matériaux
utilisés pour ce produit ne contiennent pas de substances connues causant des réactions
allergiques. Cependant, il est possible que certains soient plus sensibles et développent
une allergie aux matériaux utilisés.

Cet écran de protection est un Equipement de Protection Individuelle conformément aux
dispositions du Règlement (UE) 2016/425 et est certifié selon la norme harmonisée EN
166:2001 : Protection individuelle de l'œil.

Assemblage
Assembler l'écran selon les instructions ci-dessous :

Ajustement des positions d'arrêt :
Il y a 4 positions d'arrêt disponibles (cf la partie entourée du schéma au-dessus) pour
ajuster l'angle entre la visière et les yeux du porteur.

Mise en place de la visière sur son support :
Glisser les rivets dans les trous présents sur le haut de la visière, et tourner les rivets d'un
quart de tour pour maintenir la visière en place.

Ajustement sur la tête :
Tourner la molette pour agrandir ou rétrécir le serre-tête
jusqu'à ce qu'il s'adapte correctement à votre tête.
Attention
L'écran offre une protection limitée et ne sont pas incassable. Les gros objets ou les objets
lancés à très grande vitesse (Energie d'impact > 120 m/s) peuvent casser ou pénétrer
l'écran et blesser le visage ou les yeux du porteur. Si l'écran est porté par-dessus des
lunettes de vue, l'écran peut transmettre l'énergie d'impact et blessé le porteur. Tout
écran endommagé doit être remplacé immédiatement.
