Directions For Use / Mode d'emploi
POSE DE LA PILE
1. Il est nécessaire d'acheter une pile alkaline de 9 V car la pile n'est pas comprise.
2. Faites coulisser le couvercle du compartiment à pile dans le sens de la flèche indiquée.
3. Insérez la pile en respectant la polarité selon le schéma indiqué.
4. Faites de nouveau coulisser le couvercle pour refermer le compartiment. Assurez-vous de bien l'avoir refermé.
OPERATION
Dog Off can be used as a training device. Train your dog by pressing the Ultrasonic Dog Off Button to teach your
dog not to bark continuously or correct any other unacceptable activities.
The personal Alarm Siren is both a repellent and a call for help. It can startle a would-be attacker and alert others
to your situation.
1. Press and hold the Ultrasonic Dog Off Button to emit ultasonic sound and control dog's barking or their tracks.
Release the button to stop.
2. Press the Personal Alarm Siren Button to activate a loud emergency alert. Press again to turn off the alarm.
3. Press and hold the Flashlight Button to turn on the flash light and release it to turn off.
Note:
1. The ultrasonic sound output is not harmful to humans or animals.
2. To avoid hearing damage, do not use the Personal Alarm Siren for a long period or place your ear close to the
Alarm Siren Speaker.
3. Replace battery when the flashlight intensity appears weak.
4. The operation temperature of Dog Off is between 32° and 122°F (0˚C to 50˚C). To prevent malfunction, do not
place the device near to any heat source.

Dog Off is an innovative training device designed to protect you from dogs or to coach dogs. Built-in flashlight
and personal alarm make it the perfect companion for all occasions. Carefully pressing the Ultrasonic Dog Off
Button to activate the unit only when your dog barks, to protect from other dogs or as a coaching tool to stop
your dog from leaping onto the sofa or change any other activity you want to correct help maintain the "Novel
stimulus" aspect of the Dog Off. Dogs learn to associate the loud, irritating sound produced by the unit as a
result of barking, and stop barking or doing any action as a reaction to the Dog Off sound. Sometimes older
dogs or breeds with congenital hearing problems are unable to hear the ultrasonic sounds emitted and ignore
the Dog Off. There are no 100% perfect cures that stop 100% of the barking, this includes the Dog Off. If you
haven't noticed a significant reduction in the barking controlled under Dog Off, there may be some other
severe problems that include:
Protective Barking: They may bark at trespassers or neighbors that tease or threaten them. This may include
people knocking on your door or people walking through your yard.
Dogs Trained to Bark: They may inadvertently be trained to bark, by receiving attention (both positive and
negative) for barking.
Hearing Problems: Deaf dogs will not react to the Dog Off.
High Stress Environments: Dog Off is not recommended for use in boarding kennels, animal shelters and
grooming salons. These locations generate protective and fear barking.
