G. TROUBLE SHOOTING
Check the following before contacting technical support:
Problem
The device does not
work
The device does not
remove odours and/or
dust.
The device makes a
creaking sound.
The
mode
(automatic operation)
does not work.
No / insufficient air
circulation.
The device operates
continuously in the
mode (automatic
operation).

Cause
The power cord is not
connected.
The power cord is not connected
properly.
The fuse of the unit is defective. Replace the fuse.
The batteries in the remote
control are dead.
The HEPA-/Enzyme-filter and the
active carbon filter are dirty.
The HEPA-/Enzyme-filter and the
active carbon filter are missing.
The HEPA-/Enzyme-filter and the
active carbon filter have been
installed incorrectly.
This noise may occur when small
dust particles enter the device
and does not indicate a defect.
The air in the room was dirty
when the plug was inserted into
the socket.
The air sensor
is dirty.
The air flow is blocked.
There are excessively high
concentrations of harmful gasses
or fumes in the room.
The temperature in the room
may fluctuate significantly (e.g.
due to the opening and closing
of windows/doors).
Solution
Insert the plug into the socket.
Insert the plug into the socket
correctly.
Replace the batteries.
Replace the filters.
Install the filters in the device.
Install the filters correctly.
Contact your dealer if this noise
is constantly audible.
First purify the air. Then switch
the device to the
mode.
Manually switch the device to
the highest ventilator setting in
order to purify the air. Then
switch the device to the
mode.
Remove the blockage.
Replace the filters.
Manually switch the device to
the desired mode.
