OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
sub a)
"0" position
In the position "0", the appliance is switched off
winter position
In the winter position of the appliance, you have 2 options:
1) The heating is controlled by an external timer and/or
thermostat;
2) The heating is only controlled by the internal
thermostat.
Sub 1)
The appliance switches on when the external clock AND
the thermostat are "requesting".
Sub 2)
The appliance switches on when the internal thermostat is
"requesting".
summer position
In the summer position the appliance will operate
independently from the timer and/or thermostat.
In this position, the convection air (= surrounding air) is
only circulated and not heated.
Sub b)
The (internal) thermostat can be set between 5 ºC and
35 ºC.
The green lamp of the thermostat will light if the appliance
is switched on and the thermostat is "not requesting".
The red lamp will light if the appliance is switched on and
the thermostat is "requesting".
Sub c)
In case of a malfunction, the red lamp of the lock-out
mode will light.
Caution In case of a malfunction, contact a
!
competent installer.
Sub d)
!
Caution The reset button may only be reset by a
competent installer.
Sub e)
Caution The fuse may only be replaced by a
!
competent installer.

4.2 Switching on the appliance for heating

• Set the external timer and/or thermostat, if present.
• Set the thermostat to the required temperature.
• Set the switch to the winter position.
Caution - About ten seconds after igniting the
!
burner, the convection fan should switch
on:
- The louvre openings will release warm air;
Caution - Close the gas tap, switch off the all-pole
!
switch and contact the installer in case
of malfunctions/poor performance of the
appliance;
- Close the gas tap if the appliance ignites
with a pop sound/poorly, switch off the all-
pole switch and contact the installer.

4.3 Switching on the appliance for air circulation

• Set the switch to the summer position.
The appliance will continuously circulate convection air
(= surrounding air).

4.4 Switching off the appliance

• Set the switch to the "0" position.
• Switch the all-pole switch off as well, if the appliance will
not be used for a longer period.

5. Maintenance

5.1 General

At least once per year, the appliance should be checked
for a proper and safe operation.
!
Caution - Your appliance should be maintained by
a competent installer in the field of gas
heating;
- Do not make any changes to the appliance
yourself.
!Caution
As user, you are only allowed to clean the
appliance on the outside:
- Do not use corrosive detergents;
- Paint damages, resulting from objects
fallen/placed against the casing of the
appliance are not covered by the warranty.

5.2 Filters

At both sides of the appliance, a filter is placed to prevent
contamination of the convection fan.
These filters must be cleaned every week (see fig. 3).
• Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter from the outside,
once per week.
