EXTERIOR COMBUSTION AIR INLET
An additional outdoor fresh air intake open to the prevailing winds
is necessary to ensure good combustion, especially if the home is highly insulated and/or equipped with a mechanical ventilation system
(C.M.V. or extractor hood). The outdoor air inlet must not open into the insert casing. It must be closable in the event of problems with the
fireplace and have a minimum opening section of at least 1 dm
4. ASSEMBLING THE HEARTH
ATTENTION! It is essential to keep the floor
protection sheet.
ASSEMBLING THE HEARTH + FEET
1.
Tilt the hearth onto its back.
2.
Lay the frame for the feet on its side.
3.
Attach the frame to the bottom of the hearth using the 4
clip nuts on the base of the hearth and the 4 HM6x20
screws (B) supplied in the bag of accessories for the
feet.
4.
Tighten the screws (A, step 1).
5.
Stand the assembly upright.
For Tertio series 67 and 76 only
Use the levelling jacks (adjustable screws) on the legs
to level the hearth.
RECOMMENDED SOLUTION
Cut away existing insulation
Replace with an M0 reinforcement wall
Special insulation
- Special insulation
Remove and build a 10 cm thick wall or
leave and build a 10 cm
thick wall in front with a 2 cm cavity, or
remove and build a new solid
load bearing wall + insulation.

Do not use the fireplace if an extractor hood is in use.

ASSEMBLING THE HEARTH + FAN
Removing the floor protection sheet
1.
Remove the screws (D) located at the back of the hearth.
2.
Pull the floor protection sheet backwards and remove it.
Mounting the hearth on the ventilation box
1.
Tilt the hearth backwards.
2.
Attach the fan under the heart at points (B) using 4
HM6x20 bolts and a 10 mm box spanner.
3.
Stand the assembly upright.
4.
Attach the ventilation box to the back of the hearth using
the 2 bolts (D), and an 8 mm spanner.
